Civil Engineer - Los Angeles, California

A well-established company located in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a well-rounded, self-motivated Civil Engineer who will require broad duties.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare Construction Drawings and Specifications for a variety of projects including, pipelines, well-pumping plants, booster pumping plants, lift stations, reservoirs, and treatment plants
• Prepare technical and engineering correspondence and reports
• Prepare agendas, conduct meetings, and prepare meeting minutes
• Plan, assign, train, instruct, assist, supervise, and evaluate the work of engineering and technical staff
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload to effectively meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in California
• Minimum 8 years of experience in roads, land development, and water/wastewater engineering design with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management
• Detail-oriented with strong technical skills and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with municipalities and public agencies.
