A globally-recognized engineering firm is currently looking for a talented and professional Drainage Engineer to join their team
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing engineering designs including project research, basin delineation, storm sewer layouts, stormwater management facilities, plans preparation, and quantity estimates
- Compile and coordinate engineering documents including permit packages and design documentation reports
- Coordinate plans, calculations and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams
- Design of stormwater management facilities to meet water quality and quantity requirements, including storm sewer networks, and open channel design
- Preparation of site drainage reports, design concept reports, and drainage master planning
- Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate and precise measurements, statistical analysis, and reporting
- Conduct engineering studies and surveys to gain further information on a particular design and construction problem or issue and/or to plan for future needs
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant post-education experience in an engineering discipline and prior civil design experience
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
- Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design
- Experience with discipline-specific design software (i.e., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, SWMM, INROADS, STORM & SANITARY HY-8, Hydraulic Toolbox)
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D platforms
