Position Summary:

The goal of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to i ncreases Community of Hope's online presence and engagement through digital channels (social media, website content, and email marketing) by implementing a results-driven digital media strategy that aligns with broader organizational communication and health marketing strategy. The Digital Media Specialist will d evelop original written, graphic, and video content and suggest creative ways to and promote Community of Hope, increase social media engagement, increase web traffic, and report on metrics aligned with broader marketing and communications strategies.

The pay rate for this position ranges between $23.07 - $25.48 per hour and the offer amount is determined by the candidate's education, qualifications, and experience. Indeed provides their own estimated salary calculator and is not affiliated with COH's offer range.

Highlighted Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops and manages written, graphic, and video content for all digital channels, and social media outreach(Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram) for the organization and required programs the organization's website, patient email marketing campaigns and other media platforms. Identifies and evaluates emerging digital platforms and trends, making recommendations for new strategies to improve digital engagement including in social media. Manages the social media calendar and collaborates with the communications team to update monthly comms plan. Monitors, reviews, and reports on key metrics for each social media platform analytics bi-weekly. Engages and interacts daily with users and responds to social media messages, inquiries, and comments, engaging no less than 90% of the interactions and referring customer services questions to internal colleagues. Assists in the development and management of paid digital marketing campaigns, including social media ads and sponsored content (when applicable) including making recommendations on the audience selection, content type, and campaign selection for campaigns. Executes a results-driven social media strategy set by the Director of Communications and approved by the VP of Development and Communications. Engages and responds to identified organizations with similar mission areas to build our audience. Collaborates with Communications Coordinator and Marketing Specialist to help create and edit written, video, and photo content to support and implement projects. Coordinates with other teams to identify stories to share on social media which may include interviewing, recording, editing, and posting. Regularly attends COH events and partner with internal teams to produce live social media content as needed. Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Two years of proven work experience as a social media specialist with expertise in multiple social media platforms Proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools, email marketing software, and Google Analytics. Ability to deliver accurate, creative content (text, image and video) Proficiency with video and photo editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) , digital media formats, and HTML Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies. In-depth knowledge of SEO and keyword research. Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively. Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and marketing channels Excellent social listening skills. Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to and within Community of Hope sites and to participants homes as required. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required. Hybrid : A majority of the position may be able to work remotely, but employees will be required to report to the office a minimum of twice per week.

Community of Hope is a mission-driven, innovative, and rapidly growing nonprofit. For over 40 years, we have provided healthcare, housing, and supportive services for under-resourced, underserved and people experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we provide medical, dental, emotional wellness, and care coordination services for the whole family at three locations in DC. Community of Hope also strongly emphasizes maternal and child health, with midwifery practice and the only free-standing birth center in DC. In 2020, Community of Hope provided about 28,400 medical visits, 7,000 dental visits, and 10,000 behavioral health visits for about 11,000 patients. Community of Hope provides community walk-in COVID testing and COVID vaccines.
