We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Modeler
to join our
(CDP)
program solutions delivery team. As a key player, you will be responsible for building and migrating critical data assets into a cutting-edge AWS technology stack using Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.. This is a fully remote, long-term contract role that offers an excellent opportunity to work with modern data technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver innovative solutions.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES Required: SQL Hands-on modeling using either ERStudio or Erwin
Preferred: Databricks Starburst Immuta Collibra AWS Services familiarity
Nice to have: Pyspark/Python
METHODOLOGIES/BEST PRACTICES Agile methodology
SCHEMA AND DATA MODELING Relational Data Models Normalization/Denormalization Data integration NoSQL Modeling Dimensional Modeling
Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable and efficient data models within the data mesh architecture, considering factors such as domain-driven design, data as a product, and federated data governance • Work closely with data architects, data engineers, business users and translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate data model designs effectively • Leverage Databricks for data engineering tasks such as data processing, data validation and data orchestration • Optimize data pipelines and ensure reliable and efficient data processing, high performance, and scalability • Implement data validation rules and data quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency
