Key Responsibilities of the Finance Director:
Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives. Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Drive operational improvements and identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial reporting and transparency. Lead financial operations, including accounting, billing, procurement, and IT finance systems. Mentor and develop the finance team, preparing for organizational growth and leadership transition. Qualifications of the Finance Director:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred). 7+ years of progressive finance leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience working with environmental, construction, or engineering industries is a plus. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to solving complex business challenges.
