Your role at Clorox:
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified Quality Coordinator to conduct product quality monitoring activities in a large, focused manufacturing environment. The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for routine product testing to ensure adherence to specifications and standards, training of operations associates on proper quality methods and information, regular audits of plant quality systems, and vendor/supplier quality management. As part of the Quality Team, you will leverage resources for facility-wide success.

Starting hourly rate: $36.22 with a shift differential for overnight hours.
In this role, you will:
Adhere to plant policies while keeping safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations as top priority.
Champion the 16 Quality System Elements (QSE) as the plant quality management system alongside corporate policies.
Monitor and report out key process indicators in daily production meetings.
Execute cleaning and upkeep of all quality owned instrumentation and equipment. Schedule, plan, and track 3rd party calibrations.
Collect production samples and maintain the retain sample area and logbook.
Perform incoming raw material inspections as needed and quality release procedures for finished product.
Access and distribute all current product specifications to advise on acceptability parameters.
Assists operations in critical production activities such as changeover, shut down, and start up to validate quality specifications and standards are met.
Manage testing and documentation during any plant trials and/or qualifications on shift.
Follow the Quality Incident Report and Non-conformance reporting structure when Out of Specification incidents occur; including but not limited to,
o Coaching plant personnel on troubleshooting methods
o Providing root cause analysis instruction
o Escalating appropriately and efficiently
Manage “on hold” product inventory; including but not limited to,o Conducting AQL testing and developing rework planso Manage the Quality Hold Area.
Conduct daily audits of plant operations and product quality monitoring.
Participate in regularly scheduled QSE audits led by the Quality Lead or Manager.
Assist processing complaints made against vendor/supplier material (quality notifications).
Expand quality capability on shift by facilitating training, managing documentation, and keeping proper records
Assist the Quality Manager with creation and/or execution of new, written processes and procedures as it pertains to quality assurance.
What we look for:
Minimum qualifications:
3+ year of manufacturing experience.
2+ year of laboratory experience.
Knowledgable with computer softwares/programs, i.e. Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.
Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, PowerBI etc.
Enterprise resource planning tools (ERP) – SAP, Oracle, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills to interact appropriately with all members of plant personnel.
Capable of effectively managing time and assigning priority to work
Flexibility to accommodate overtime (days or weekends) or schedule changes due to business needs.
Ability to travel as the need arises for training and development.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing experience.
5+ years of quality assurance experience.
An Associates/Technical degree in Data Analytics/Science, Quality Management, or other comparable field.
