Our work depends on a Senior Systems Administrator joining our CNIC Applications Support team which provides system administration and development/maintenance support of Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) applications. to Change Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) G2 applications.
HOW OUR SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Senior System Administrator for G2 OPS.
Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of physical systems including servers, storage arrays, network devices and data centers.
Installs, configures and maintains virtual hosts, operating systems, applications and databases.
Documents IT infrastructure standards, processes and procedures.
Schedules and coordinates infrastructure maintenance outages with all key stakeholders to ensure high availability of operations.
Provides periodic status updates on scheduled maintenance and upgrade of all infrastructure systems.
Troubleshoots hardware, network, software and application issues to identify bottleneck in operations and provides recommendations to ensure optimum performance and continuity of critical systems.
Provides tier 3 support as needed.
Manage Development server environment
Daily Server Checks (Windows Servers, SharePoint)
Monitor SCOM Alerts
Patching (ad-hoc & routine)
EIM QA/PROD Deployments
Support for Ad-hoc requests from EIM teams
Coordinate with SDP via IssueTrak tickets
Monitor logs
Troubleshoot Tier II/III tickets impacting platform availability
SA Support for G2 Platform Projects (Server Upgrades, Rollover Projects, SPO -Migration, JBAB and Saratoga Re-Alignment)
STIG compliance
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance with completed T5 Investigation
Required Experience:
6 years of relevant IT experience
Experience managing Windows Servers/VMs at a datacenter.
Knowledge managing G2 systems in the SDP data center.
Required Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT II compliances - CompTIA Security+ CE
Education: BS Degree or equivalent Computer Science or IT related degree
Location: Remote

The likely salary range for this position is $116,979 - $154,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
