Mid-level Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience representing banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in various financing transactions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structuring, documenting, and closing asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle-market financing transactions. Duties: Represent banks, commercial finance companies, private debt funds, and other lenders in structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions. Provide legal counsel on UCC Article 9 perfection provisions and mortgage/title insurance issues. Assist in loan workouts and restructurings as needed. Conducted legal research, drafted legal documents, and participated in negotiations. Requirements: 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance law, specifically representing lenders. Admission to practice as an attorney in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong understanding of asset-based, real estate, healthcare, and general middle-market financing. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills: Proficiency in legal research and writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Experience with loan workouts and restructurings is a plus.
