Vice President of Finance
for a
CONTRACT
assignment with one of our premier
Healthcare
clients in
Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities : ccounting operations, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and audit schedules. Contractual allowance calculations, third party reserves, Medicare/Medicaid/BCBS cost reports, GME reimbursement, revenue budgets, maximum revenue opportunities within Medicare and Medicaid regulations and managed care contracts. Functional systems support for corporate finance, decision support and budget office. ccounting for research and fund activity. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Drawdown of available funds via NIH. Inventory, depreciation, construction accounting, payables. Student loans, tuition payments, accounting, budgets. Federal and State tax compliance and reporting. Collection and accounting for medical center receipts. Payment of vendor obligations. Payroll External Audit. Executive analysis and commentary for all financial reports issued. Monitors latest developments in accounting practices and pronouncements and assess their impact and applicability to the firm External financial reporting for the obligated group. Accounting reviews and positions on significant transactions. External financial statements for bondholders, bankers, and rating agencies. Joint Venture Finance representative Monitor and Review Joint Venture Accounting Finance representative on divestiture transactions. Valuation, negotiation, and divestiture. Leading corporate projects. Required
Skills :
Deep skills and experience in healthcare accounting and finance. Must be able to effectively interface with individuals throughout the Medical Center. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, a CPA, and or MBA. Prior experience as senior financial executive in healthcare organization required, preferably at an academic medical center. Has a good understanding of the flow of funds between research, education and the clinical enterprise. SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
