Job Description Job Title: Student Worker - BaylorVision Student Employee Job Classification: Marketing and Communications, Student Department: Branding and Creative Services Hiring Manager: Justin Hoff Contact: Justin_Hoffbaylor.edu Work Schedule: Varies Desired Length of Employment : Will vary Pay Rate : $7.25 - $10 Job Description: The BaylorVision Student Employee position will include responsibilities in areas of videography, photography, video production and video editing. More specifically, this will include direct involvement in assisting with daily administrative, maintenance and operational items. Compensation is standardized and commensurate with responsibilities and performance. Job Functions: Ability to handle 25-50 lbs. of equipment at a time Ability to efficiently use the Adobe Production Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) Ability to operate DSLR cameras for photography and video Ability to use ENG style cameras for live event production Intermediate knowledge of control room equipment (Chyron, Abekas Replay, Camera Shading, etc.) Willingness to help with setup and teardown of equipment before and after events Must be able to take direction and understand production workflow from start to finish (Initial Idea, Shooting, Logging, Editing, Exporting, etc.) Must be on time for all crew calls or when assigned to office hours Other duties as assigned that may or may not include travel Compliance with all NCAA and Baylor policies Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance Employer: Baylor University Work Location: Simpson Ath & Academic Complex Work Address: 1500 S University Parks Dr, Waco, TX 76706
