Job Description Job Title: Student Worker - LRC Student Assistant - BC Job Classification: Business Operations, Student Department: School of Education, Learning Resource Center Hiring Manager: Pam Voyles Contact: Pam_Voylesbaylor.edu Work Schedule: Varies by student, anywhere from 5-20 hours/wk.o Sunday 2:00pm-9:00pm, M-Th 7:30am-9:00pm, Friday 7:30am-3:00pm, Closed Saturday Desired Length of Employment: 1/21/2025 - Ongoing Pay Rate: $9.00 Job Description: Purpose: Assist patrons and complete various tasks as needed to ensure the LRC remains organized and accessible to all visitors. Duties: Assist patrons with finding resources as needed Assist patrons in utilizing equipment in the Media Lab as needed Check in/out resources to patrons including faculty, students, and area teachers; ensuring items are returned in their original state and that all components are included. Re-shelve returned resources during every shift Check printers and refill paper as necessary. Answer the telephone in the absence of supervisors Unlock lab classrooms for Faculty when classes are scheduled. Periodically check shelves for misshelved items in assigned section.
