The Administrative Assistant coordinates administrative activities, such as supervision of office staff, including bi-weekly meetings and staff development. Additionally, this role will: Prepare and process new employment documentation including E-Verify and EPAFs. Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll, including ENPs. Prepare and coordinate course scheduling, which includes assisting in coordinating room availability, course selection, instructor assignments, and semester course reports. Assist department head with RPT documents. Coordinate department annual budget proposal report including faculty summer funding. Serve as liaison with other on campus units and outside entities. Prepare fiscal reports and oversee record retention and management. Oversee physical facilities, coordinates activities involved in department committee functions, and special events. However, applications will continue to be reviewed until the position is filled. Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required Qualifications: High School/GED. Minimum of five years related experience. Office management or supervision, excellent computer skills, and accounting skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to perform messenger tasks across campus. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Accounting or related field. Three or more years of related experience, involving supervision of multiple staff, coordination of complex tasks, handling confidential information, communication with other units and agencies, accounting, and budgeting experience.
