Senior Accountant - Project Consultant

Headfarmer is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team as a Project Consultant. Providing accounting support for various client projects across multiple industries, from emerging startups to publicly traded organizations. Participate in accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements. Key Responsibilities may include: Lead day-to-day accounting activities for assigned clients, including balance sheet account reconciliation, journal entries, and the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency. Collaborate closely with client teams to understand project objectives and deliverables. Support and Ensure Compliance during internal and external audits, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements and upholding the highest standards of integrity. Mentor and Develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Requirements: Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance 4 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to diverse industries. Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a consulting or project-based environment is preferred. Proficiency in a variety of accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, and MS Office Suite. Why Headfarmer?
