Staff Accountant - Project Consultant

Headfarmer is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team as a Project Consultant providing accounting support for various client projects across multiple industries, from emerging startups to publicly traded organizations. Contribute to client success with accurate financial information.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Assist in managing and executing day-to-day accounting activities for a diverse range of client projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  

• Prepare journal entries, conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations, and support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  

• Work closely with client teams to address and resolve accounting challenges, providing tailored financial solutions that meet project objectives.
  

• Facilitate audit preparations and actively engage with auditors, ensuring that all documentation and procedures meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  

• Strong knowledge of GAAP
  

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

• Experience in a consulting or project-based environment is a plus.
  

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
