The Role:

Lead .NET Developer w/React/Azure
to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the 'team', drives continuous improvement, and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions. Location: Washington, DC Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workload requirements, performance expectations, and scalability needs. Domain knowledge with Loan/Lending Design compute architectures that optimize resource utilization, minimize latency, and enhance overall system performance. Determine the appropriate compute resources based on workload characteristics. Balance cost-effectiveness with performance requirements. Implement auto-scaling strategies to handle varying workloads. Design for high availability and fault tolerance. Optimize parallel processing, GPU utilization, and distributed computing. Ensure efficient data movement and synchronization. Design transactional compute patterns with compensation patterns. Explore serverless computing options for event-driven workloads. Design event-driven workflows that respond dynamically to triggers. Integrate security best practices into compute designs. Implement access controls, encryption, and network segmentation. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Define monitoring metrics for compute resources. Set up alerts, logging, and diagnostics. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization. Provide a long-term vision for the platform, considering changes in technology within the context of ITS current implementation and our feature roadmap. Design and validate solutions that are practical, flexible, resilient, scalable, reusable, and strategic. Promote component-based development, emphasizing reusability and consistency. Present, discuss, and walk through the merits of the solutions recommendations with a group of enterprise architects. Institute and lead the adoption of best practices and standards to improve the quality of the deliverables. Required Skill: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience working with Microsoft .NET framework 4.5+ using Visual Studio (2019) technologies. Expert-level expertise with Microsoft

PaaS solutions
with Azure services. Experience with ADO.Net, Entity Data model, Entity Framework 4.0+. Hands-on experience in implementing Azure Active Directory authentication. Proficiency in Git version control. Applications will be accepted until 12/10/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337- $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Benefits:
