The Role:
Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative
Lead .NET Developer
to serve our diverse base of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build cutting-edge, cloud-based software that powers modern business. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a diverse, collaborative, geographically distributed team. Similarly, the ideal candidate is an expert engineer who values the “team,” drives continuous improvement, and is unafraid to challenge the legacy status quo with creative cloud-based solutions. Location: Washington, DC Responsibilities: Experience with IFC financial applications, full stack .NET development experience of 9+ years, and strong knowledge of SQL. Excellent knowledge of Investran COTS product functionalities and integration methodologies. Design and develop the solution within Investran Equity, COSR systems modules to integrate the finance systems (Investran Equity, ASL, TPF, etc.). Work on Investran upgrade project development. Interact with business analysts and users to come up with a design and obtain sign-off. Guide offshore development resources to build the UI and database artifacts. Interact with data modeler to finalize the data model changes and additions. Working with FIS Investran COTS product is a must. Integration between different IFC systems and Investran COTS product is a plus. Experience in architecting scalable enterprise applications in .NET. Required Skills: 9+ years of relevant work experience. Develop programs using .NET 4.5x or higher. (C#) .NET - OData (WCF Data Services). Experience with Angular. .NET - Web API JSON / Rest / SOAP SQL Server Oracle. Knowledge of Data Power. Knowledge of MQ. Windows Identity Framework (WIF). Developing objects in .NET 4.5x and higher (C#). .NET - OData (WCF Data Services). .NET - Web API, JSON / Rest / SOAP & JavaScript. Experience in JSON / Rest / SOAP. Knowledge of interfacing with SQL Server / Oracle 10g or higher. Work with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for task/bug tracking. Development of REST/SOAP web services with WCF/Web API. $81,337– $141,500
depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Benefits:
