Under the direction of the President or designee, the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for the overall design, organization, delivery, supervision, evaluation, and fiscal management of a comprehensive office of institutional effectiveness. There is currently one full-time vacancy located at Oxnard College, pending board approval. WHERE YOU'LL WORK

Oxnard College was founded in 1975 and is the newest of the three community colleges in the county. Set on 118 acres and located two miles from Pacific Ocean beaches, the college is easily accessible by the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101) or the Pacific Coast Highway. The Ventura County Community College District (VCCCD) is a public community college district serving residents through Ventura County. RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist campus leadership in assessing, identifying, formulating, directing and implementation of the College mission. Provide leadership for the continued evaluation of instruction, student services and business and administrative services support programs. Coordinate and prepare timely, accurate and comprehensive reports and responses to all required state, federal, and district and college departments. Assist with the systematic integration of planning and program review in institutional effectiveness, staff development, student equity, accreditation, grants evaluation, student learning outcomes and budgeting, ensuring alignment with the Educational Master Plan, Strategic Enrollment Management Plan and accreditation process. Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-range strategies, goals and objectives for college strategic planning. Assist with the design and implementation of an annual evaluation of the College’s institutional plans and its planning processes. Lead the development, implementation, and data analysis of surveys, databases, dashboards and other information needed to support academic, departmental and college efforts in decision making, assessment, budgeting, evaluations, program review, student learning outcomes, student equity, planning and enrollment management. Provide leadership in the dissemination of institutional data to departments and offices to advance student equity, success, and completion. Monitor and keep the campus community current concerning demographics and community information and adequacy and effectiveness of college service. Provide support of the campus enrollment management process. Identify primary institutional, local, state, federal and national demographics, economic trends, and other data to be used in research projects, reports, presentations, educational planning, and development. Coordinate and prepare timely and accurate instructional reports required by various federal, state, district and college departments, including providing data for state and federal grants. Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned employees, set performance requirements and goals, monitor and coach for improvement, promote excellence and customer service, and take disciplinary action if needed according to District rules. Work collaboratively and professionally with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, and ethnic communities. Demonstrate cultural humility, sensitivity, and equity-mindedness in working with individuals from diverse communities; model inclusive behaviors; and achieve equity in assignment-related outcomes. Serve on management councils and other college and district committees. Perform other duties as assigned. E = Essential duties MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a master's degree; and One year of formal training, internship, or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrator's administrative assignment. All coursework must be from a recognized accredited college or university. SALARY RANGE

$11,621.50/ month to $15,573.75. With a doctorate add $6,447.53/year. STARTING SALARY

Dependent on education and experience. Fringe benefits include family medical, dental, life, and vision insurance plans. The work year is 12 calendar months, including 20 vacation days per year, two floating holidays, and an additional three days off during the winter break. APPLICATION PROCEDURE
