HireMinds is seeking a motivated Senior Associate Scientist or Scientist to join our client's discovery to preclinical efforts in the lab. In this role you’ll provide MOA study support, preclinical, and translational immunology experiment expertise in the lab. You’ll work on a novel platform in cancer and autoimmune diseases. To be successful you will contribute to understanding disease-relevant T-cell receptor (TCR) repertoires and work on generating and interrogating TCR-transduced human cell lines and primary human T cells. You’ll Be Responsible For:
Planning and executing in vitro/ex vivo studies using primary human immune cells from healthy donors and patients independently and efficiently.
Working hands-on with studies focused on immunophenotyping through multicolor flow cytometry, FACS, and cellular immunology assays.
Advance the company's work in isolating and transduction of cell lines using cell culture with primary human/non-human PBMCs, immune cells, and T-cells.
Contribute to the design, construction, and testing of TCR lentiviral/retroviral vectors.
Conduct experiments, document data accurately, and communicate findings effectively with the project team and management.
Collaborate with team members to achieve experimental and organizational goals.
You’ll Bring:
Ph.D. in Immunology or a relevant field with ~3 years of Industry experience OR M.S. with 7+ years, or B.S. with 9+ years in industry lab positions.
Hands-on experience executing and documenting in vitro studies with primary human immune cells is essential.
Expertise in multicolor flow cytometry-based immunophenotyping, FACS, and cellular immunology assays (e.g., cytokine analysis, cytotoxicity, proliferation).
Experience analyzing antigen-specific T cells.
Proficiency in molecular biology, lentiviral/retroviral vector design, synthetic biology, and assay development is preferred.
Hands-on experience generating stably transduced T cell lines and primary T cells.
Experience with B cells studies in autoimmune diseases.
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
