The USC Institute of Urology is seeking an Assistant Professor of Research Urology. The ideal candidate will have a research background in computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI) in medical image analysis, particularly on MR Prostate, as well as histological image processing. Successful applicants will have earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS). Candidates must have a background to applied Machine Learning on urology problems and have a strong experience in developing AI-tools with applications to MR Prostate. We are specifically looking for candidates with demonstrated research and applied knowledge in AI technologies such as Deep Learning (DL), Green Learning (GL) and Machine Learning (ML). It is a strong plus for candidates to have publications in Generative AI (GenAI) in surgery. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 per year.
