The Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) at the University of Southern California (USC) is currently seeking a talented and self-motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Laboratory of Dr. Woojin An in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (https://keck.usc.edu/faculty-search/woojin-an/). The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of molecular and cell biology, transgenic mouse models, in vitro cell culture, and/or some experience in bioinformatics. He/she will participate in planning, designing, and conducting highly technical and complex research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator and will closely collaborate with other lab members. Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within previous five years Research Experience: Strong background in molecular and cellular biology. Field of Expertise: Cancer biology with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures, and analysis methods. Serves as a research trainee for the purpose of enhancing and developing research competencies. Employs biochemical and cellular techniques to identify and regulate oncogenic signaling pathways. Analyzes research data and provides interpretations. Contributes to the development of research documentation for publication and/or prepares technical reports, papers and/or records. This is a fixed-term, full-time position. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will assist the Principal Investigator with research studies. The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $72,000.
