Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from inception to trial Draft pleadings and motions Conduct legal research and prepare legal briefs Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests Prepare trial notebooks and exhibits Conduct pre-trial conferences and settlement negotiations Attend trials and present evidence to the court Maintain accurate and detailed case records Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation on the Plaintiffs side. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures Ability to manage a high volume of cases and meet deadlines Strong negotiation and advocacy skills Experience with case management software and electronic discovery tools If you are a highly motivated and experienced litigation attorney with a passion for personal injury law, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
