REPORTS TO: President/CEO PAY GRADE: E18 PAY RANGE: $147,082.22/year - $245,137.03/year, Exempt, Dependent on experience Position Summary

The Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer (CLO) provides leadership of consumer, mortgage and commercial lending at First U.S. Community Credit Union. This role will lead strategy and modernization of the credit union’s lending operations, focusing on innovation for loan portfolio management, service excellence and risk mitigation. The CLO shall be a strategic and visionary leader who can inspire and influence others while embodying the credit union’s leadership values. Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluate and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance departmental performance. Foster a cooperative and collaborative environment to develop a high-performing, diverse lending team focused on serving members and achieving strong results. Review and revise lending policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance. Supervise, train, mentor and coach team members. Recommend and implement new programs to improve financial service offerings to our members. Ensure adherence to underwriting policy, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Monitor performance and adjust as appropriate to achieve organizational goals. Monitor market trends and economic conditions to proactively respond to changes that impact lending operations. Proactively identify, analyze, and manage loan portfolio risks, prioritizing diversification strategies. Lead the operational management of lending functions, overseeing all lending activities, ensuring efficient and effective loan processing, underwriting, closing, funding and collection practices. Develop and manage departmental budgets. Use data analytics to develop strategies to improve credit quality, ensure credit equity and deliver exceptional member service. Perform other duties as assigned. Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum eight to ten years’ of similar or related experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred. Outstanding, professional written and verbal communication skills. Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Works in an office environment, requiring the use of office equipment, such as personal computers. Must be able to frequently move around the office to perform lending and sales activities. Occasionally works long hours to accomplish tasks as necessary to effectively manage projects and meet established goals and targets.
