The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in conjunction with Rutgers Health invites applications for a faculty position in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performing surgical pathology and cytopathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – the school’s 650-bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology teams, consulting with clinical staff, and actively participating in the educational programs of the Department, which include teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows. The candidate will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation in the autopsy service will be required. Subspecialty expertise in an area such as pediatric pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, breast pathology, thoracic pathology, gynecologic pathology, etc., is desirable.

Minimum Education and Experience
Active medical license in the State of New Jersey. Must be fellowship trained in surgical pathology and/or cytopathology. Certifications/Licenses
An MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP or AP and cytopathology. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and academic experience.
