You will be crucial in driving data-driven decision-making and developing innovative solutions to enhance our business operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and programming, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Analysis and Modeling: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to explore and analyze complex datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and relationships. Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems, optimize processes, and improve decision-making. Apply data mining and visualization techniques to transform raw data into meaningful insights and reports. Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics: Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, demand patterns, and market trends, contributing to business growth strategies. Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives and provide recommendations for optimization. Utilize optimization techniques to improve resource allocation, pricing strategies, and operational efficiency. Data-driven Decision Making: Communicate complex analytical findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. Collaborate with business leaders and teams to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and develop strategies to address business challenges. Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis, supporting the development and execution of data-driven initiatives. Data Management and Governance: Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to data science and analytics. COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualifications include: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques. Proficiency in using SQL and working with relational databases. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or similar. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. EXPERIENCE: Outlined below are the academic qualifications and length and type of experience deemed necessary by Unique Vacations Inc. in order to perform the role of Data Scientist competently. Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience:

5+ years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or e-commerce industry. Preferred experience with PowerBI.
