Senior Accountant Business Services
Location: Boston, MA (Financial District) on-site
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 plus bonus

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can work in a collaborative environment where they leverage outstanding attention to detail to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviewing financial statements.
Prepare financial reports and assist in variance analysis to provide management with actionable insights.
Support the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies across all financial processes.
Assist with cash flow management and tracking company expenditures.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate recording of transactions and operational alignment.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for the annual audit.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and streamline workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, in a business services or professional services environment preferred.
CPA and/or experience with public accounting is a plus.
Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Proficiency in Excel and other mid-market accounting software (Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics BC) preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience. ($100,000 - $115,000)
