Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience At least two years of experience in Accounting or a related field Knowledge of general Accounting principles Responsibilities
This position is responsible for a variety of duties including the processing of cash receipts, accounts payable review of information and general ledger accuracy, client billing, month-end bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, generating monthly journal entries, monthly reports used in the department and assisting with the preparation of schedules for the annual audit. This position will work closely with all members of the Finance Department to ensure the smooth flow of operations. Daily review of Accounts Payables invoices for information and general ledger accuracy. Daily post of miscellaneous cash and checks for non-patient and donations for the Foundation. Bi-weekly agency hours reconciliation. Create and review patient and insurance refunds. Monthly processing of Client Billing and follow up on accounts receivable. Monthly download of bank statements and system reports. Monthly reconciliation of WT and Employee housing rents. Monthly review of purchase order accruals. Prepares monthly journal entries for assigned accounts during the monthly close. Creates monthly financial reports for AVHF and VHA. Assists in the preparation of the annual financial statement audit by providing account reconciliations, preparing audit schedules and providing supporting documentation as requested. Assists Controller on side projects as requested. Assists in other areas of the Finance Department as needed. Benefits
Pay range for new hires: $59,000.00 to $94,000.00 annually. Hire-in rates of pay are based upon the relevance of years of experience, education, and certifications.
