Our prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, managing associates, and trial experience. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal matters
Manage a team of associates and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest level of legal services are provided to clients
Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the best possible outcome for clients
Prepare and present cases in court, including trials, hearings, and depositions
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and draft settlement agreements
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
Attend mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the state bar and in good standing
2+ years of experience in construction defect law experience, civil defense litigation, general liability defense litigation, professional liability defense, insurance defense, and trial experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional legal services to clients
