Job ID: 2840127 | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon seeks a senior finance manager to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to change the way the finance organization at Amazon works. The successful candidate will lead company-wide finance transformation projects that change how Amazon consumes, stores, organizes, allocates, and analyzes financial data. This individual will lead the development and implementation of initiatives underlying the financial integrity of our external and internal reporting, including business and segment allocations and reporting infrastructure. Your job is to challenge the status quo – to think differently about how finance supports the business and how to grow the company. You will work closely with business finance teams across Amazon to identify pain points in financial processes, such as in allocations and reporting, in order to build recommendations and programs that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization. This person will need to understand business unit financials and anticipate the impact of finance transformation projects on other teams and processes. As a senior finance manager, you are accountable for the integrity of financial reporting for Amazon and for delivering valuable insights that impact business results. You are able to effectively articulate insights to leadership and the impact to each specific business. You assess risk to financial systems and reporting. You think big and influence senior leaders on strategic decisions that drive scalable long-term growth in the business. You lead the development of strategic financial analyses and models to solve complex challenges facing the business and bring a global perspective to your work and teach others how to identify global impacts. You are right, a lot and demonstrate exceptional judgment in decisions that have financial, business, operational, or customer impacts often in high-pressure situations with deadlines. You will manage a team of finance managers who work cross-functionally with business finance teams across the company. You should have a strategic focus but retain an appropriate level of hands-on management. You hire and develop the best talent for the company and are consistently supporting, developing, mentoring, and empowering your team to take ownership for delivery and encourage smart risk-taking. Your leadership results in your team having a bias for action and taking smart risks and innovating with two-way doors. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
