Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Amazon seeks a senior finance manager to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to change the way the finance organization at Amazon works. The successful candidate will lead company-wide finance transformation projects that change how Amazon consumes, stores, organizes, allocates, and analyzes financial data. Your job is to challenge the status quo – to think differently about how finance supports the business and how to grow the company. You will work closely with business finance teams across Amazon to identify pain points in financial processes, such as in allocations and reporting, in order to build recommendations and programs that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization. As a senior finance manager, you are accountable for the integrity of financial reporting for Amazon and for delivering valuable insights that impact business results. You are able to effectively articulate insights to leadership and the impact to each specific business. You assess risk to financial systems and reporting. You think big and influence senior leaders on strategic decisions that drive scalable long-term growth in the business. You will manage a team of finance managers who work cross-functionally with business finance teams across the company. You should have a strategic focus but retain an appropriate level of hands-on management. You hire and develop the best talent for the company and are consistently supporting, developing, mentoring, and empowering your team to take ownership for delivery and encourage smart risk-taking. Responsibilities:
