Business Analyst SME with MBI IRS Clearance
Our client is seeking a Business Analyst SME who will work with the implementation of major technology programs to address business problems or opportunities and support PMO activities in large public sector organizations, with a focus on risk management and timeliness in project schedules. Responsibilities Include: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Provide the necessary structure to support modernization and aid adoption of unified technology, data, and data products. Support the operation and maintenance of data lifecycle activities across a wide range of data files and assets to reduce inefficiencies and remove barriers to accessing data. Streamline and automate cataloging of metadata into CDC's Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and provide support to programs to increase adoption by the development and establishment of governance processes and materials to ensure consistent and standardized use of data cataloging. Increase adoption and apply best practices to consistently leverage CDC's EDAV platform. Support processes associated with the automated ingestion of high-value data assets, creation of data linkages, establishment of common interfaces and contracts for data sharing, streamlining of data access workflows and approvals from data stewards, and establishment of consistent and uniform ways of publishing data within the EDAV platform. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business management or related study. 10 years of progressive experience. Support the development, maintenance, and operations of technology solutions and shared services to support end-user needs, particularly focused on core data sources and response-prone data assets. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. Possess domain and expert technical knowledge. Direct and control activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met. Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirement. Candidates must be local to the Washington DC metro area. Superstar Qualifications: IRS or government industry experience. Current, active IRS or TREAS Public Trust suitability background investigation. Clearance requirement: Must be able to pass a minimum background investigation for U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
