The

Full Stack Data Scientist

is a pivotal role within our Data Science and Machine Learning team, driving the development of data-driven products and services. You will create and deploy efficient, scalable machine learning models while ensuring robust and optimized supporting infrastructure. Operate at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and MLOps - designing cloud-native platforms, automating model deployment pipelines, and creating monitoring and alerting tools. Your expertise in developing advanced models and maintaining production deployments will ensure reliable, high-performing machine learning solutions. This position is based in our Waltham, MA office. We offer a flexible work environment, meaning working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy scalable machine learning models using statistical, machine learning, and deep learning methods, including advanced time series models, to extract insights into product features, user behavior, and business metrics. Build and maintain cloud-native MLOps platforms, automating end-to-end pipelines for data ingestion, model training, deployment, and monitoring on platforms like AWS and Snowflake. Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to design data pipelines, translate business needs into data science solutions, and present insights to shape product strategy. Optimize models for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring data quality, integrity, and governance throughout the lifecycle, while fostering a data-driven culture and continuous learning environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments. Proven track record of implementing end-to-end machine learning solutions, including data collection, preprocessing, model deployment, and monitoring, using Python, SQL, and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), including experience with services like S3, Lambda, SageMaker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, Airflow, or Dagster. Hands-on experience with MLOps practices, including containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CDK, and building scalable feature stores and data pipelines. Familiarity with time series forecasting methods, including statistical and deep learning models like ARIMA, LSTM, and Transformers. Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and generative AI models for building advanced AI solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions and effectively communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and regulatory compliance for machine learning workflows, with experience in data warehousing solutions like Snowflake. A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with a passion for continuous learning, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a drive to stay updated with the latest trends in AI and MLOps. We value passion and potential. If you are enthusiastic about a position and think you can make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box.
