Senior FP&A Analyst

Chicago, Illinois, USA COFCO International Grains US LLC seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst in Oakbrook Terrace, IL to support the FP&A Manager in the following responsibilities: Short-term and long-term business modeling. Daily profit and loss analysis. Monthly forecasting and strategic investment planning. Conduct business and financial analysis for margins, expenses, capital expenditures, and market conditions based on different scenarios and models. Create charts, tables, and graphs with Microsoft Excel to visualize data for management review. Prepare daily and weekly market reports by researching the latest news and market trends. Provide global management predictions on how market conditions may impact North America business. Assist in producing presentation slides for detailed analysis or strategy proposals for regional and senior global management. Make financial analysis to assist in merger and acquisition investment proposals. Discuss with business units regarding financial forecasts and business plans, analyzing their validity and assisting in modifications. Cooperate with third-party consultants, appraisers, auditors, tax practitioners, and professionals in financial projects. Prepare analysis and presentation slides for monthly and quarterly financial reviews or forecasts for regional CFO. Coordinate with product lines and business units to collect and organize financial data for the annual budgeting process. Investigate causes and impacts of significant variations in business accounts. Prepare urgent financial reports and presentations for internal global committees or external authorities. Respond to management requests or questions regarding company financials. Monitor progress of capital projects and report any issues to management. Assist in implementing global non-trading procurement procedures by analyzing financial aspects of transactions. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field and 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, or related occupation, including 2 years of experience reviewing grain commodity position reports and grain commodity profit and loss reports, and using Agris, Allegro, and SAP BPC reporting software.
