www.work365apps.com Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Microsoft Stack (.NET), with extensive experience in developing and executing automated tests using Selenium, API testing, and backend testing. As an SDET at IoTap Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by creating comprehensive test plans, translating business requirements into actionable test scenarios, and integrating tests into our build pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Automated Tests:

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for UI testing, as well as develop API and backend tests to ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications. Create and Maintain Test Plans:

Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications. Ensure that test plans cover all aspects of functionality, performance, and security. Translate Business Requirements:

Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to translate business requirements into testable scenarios. Ensure that testing aligns with user needs and business objectives. Integrate Tests into Build Pipelines:

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Ensure that tests are executed regularly and provide timely feedback on build quality. Perform Backend Testing:

Conduct thorough backend testing, including database validation and API testing, to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability of backend systems. Identify and Report Defects:

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Track defect status and ensure timely resolution. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies. Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes and automation frameworks. Requirements Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a similar role, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Stack (.NET) and automated testing. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in .NET programming, experience with Selenium for UI testing, and expertise in API and backend testing. Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools is required. Test Planning:

Proven experience in developing comprehensive test plans, translating business requirements into test cases, and ensuring full test coverage. CI/CD Integration:

Hands-on experience with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues. Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
