Qualifications
Knowledge of traffic analysis software (HCS, CAD, Synchro, VISSIM preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $64,000-$78,000.

Your Day to Day
Conduct capacity and queueing analyses at stop-controlled intersections, signalized intersections, and roundabouts
Prepare trip generation forecasts
Assist with the written preparation of traffic impact studies, technical reports, and parking studies
Review roadway geometrics and signal timings
Evaluate roadway segment operations using both macrosimulation and microsimulation software
Evaluate bicycle and pedestrian operations and safety
May act as technical resource for client
Research local design standards for preparation of traffic studies
Travel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings as required
Education
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or Transportation Planning
F.E. or E.I.T preferred
Experience
Typically, 0 to 3 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning
