Position: Litigation Attorney
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to handle a diverse caseload, including construction defects, civil litigation, plaintiff representation, and some first-party property claims. The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of construction law and a proven track record in trial advocacy. This role is perfect for a confident self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact on our organization. Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution. Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in construction defect, civil litigation, and first-party property claims. Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients. Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. Represent plaintiffs in court, presenting evidence and arguments in the most persuasive manner. Stay abreast of developments in construction law and related fields, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Conduct settlement negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve disputes efficiently and favorably for our clients. Foster strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional customer service and maintaining open lines of communication. Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on construction defect & civil litigation. Proven trial experience and strong advocacy skills. In-depth knowledge of construction law and related legal principles. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successful dispute resolution. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
