Sr Personnel Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Personnel Security Specialist with over 8 years of expertise in personnel security administration and SCI access management. This role requires extensive knowledge of special security directives, a deep understanding of security protocols, and strong leadership capabilities to ensure the highest standards of compliance and support across personnel security functions.
This position requires an active
TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)
clearance.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for
Senior Personnel Security Specialist:
$100,000 to $130,000. Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Lead personnel security administration support, overseeing adherence to all relevant manuals, policies, and procedures with a focus on best practices. Manage SCI access processes, including E-QIP and JPAS, ensuring precise and timely processing of all security access requests. Maintain control, accountability, and compliance of SCI materials, enforcing regulations and security standards. Provide integrated security services across Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations, SCI Physical Security, TEMPEST, and Industrial Security. Apply a comprehensive understanding of all special security Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) to ensure security standards are met and exceeded. Design and deliver advanced training sessions for personnel, ensuring clear understanding and compliance with security requirements. Act as a primary advisor for security-related inquiries, offering expert customer service, guidance, and problem-solving on complex security issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in personnel security, including: In-depth knowledge of special security ICDs, SCI access procedures, and HSPD-12. Familiarity with personnel security applications such as E-QIP and JPAS. Experience supporting SSO and SCIF operations, SCI Physical Security, TEMPEST, and Industrial Security protocols. Exceptional customer service, strong communication abilities for training and guidance, and thorough knowledge of security access management tools and applications. Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
