Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced SEC reporting professional to be responsible for the preparation of the company's quarterly and annual Form 10-Q/K's and quarterly earnings releases and assist in the preparation of various other Investor Relations documents (i.e. earnings presentations, investor presentations, monthly activity reports, etc.). The SEC Reporting group is also responsible for managing the company's capitalization table, non-controlling interest adjustments, foreign currency translation reconciliations, monthly stock-based compensation expense journal entries and the development and execution of the company's accounting policies, including monitoring new accounting pronouncements, documenting their effect on the company's financial statements and implementing accounting policies on a global level. We are seeking an experienced SEC accounting professional that is also technologically savvy and can help drive continuing finance transformation efforts aimed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness our monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting processes.
Job Responsibilities: Preparation and review of financial statements, footnotes and other necessary supporting documents for the Company's quarterly and annual Form 10-Q and 10-K's. Preparation of the statement of cash flows Analysis of key financial statement variances and preparation of MD&A and other of key SEC disclosures Responsible for the preparation of SEC & GAAP checklists, related-party analysis and memo and quarterly revenue contracts review analysis and memo documentation in accordance with ASC 606. Research and assess applicability of new GAAP/SEC guidance Key contributor to the company's finance transformation goals and initiatives, aimed at streamlining/automating all process from record to report and continuous enhancements to the internal control environment Assist with the SOX documentation processes, including communicating with internal and external auditors for information requests and explanations related to audit requests and internal controls Mentor and train more junior staff
Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience 5+ years of Big Four public accounting experience working with SEC clients Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) - Experience manipulating large amounts of data in Excel Strong technology skills required, including the ability to use tools such as Alteryx to help drive efficiency in previously manual processes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities while adhering to tight deadlines Workiva experience a plus
