Senior Project Accountant
Leader in the construction/engineering industry is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to manage customer billings, subcontractor payments, collections, and project cost reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Billings:
Review and enter AR billings into Sage, track residential and small job billings, and generate billing reports. Collections:
Maintain cash receipt logs, communicate with customers on payment status, and manage weekly AR meetings. Sub Invoicing & Payments:
Route sub invoices to PMs, ensure timely processing, and maintain strong subcontractor relations. Compliance:
Track compliance documents (lien releases, certified payroll, etc.), and ensure adherence to project requirements. Contract & Cost Management:
Set up jobs in Sage, manage project budgets, cost codes, and provide reports to PMs. Qualifications: Education/Experience:
Degree in Accounting/Finance or 4+ years of related experience. Construction industry knowledge preferred. Software:
