to support our Navy customer in
Washington, DC. Security Clearance: Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance. Position/Job Description: Budget Preparation Assistance:
Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. Measure Organizational Performance:
Assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget and measure organizational performance. Examine Budget Estimates:
Review budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Cost-Benefit Analysis:
Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program trade-offs, and explore alternative funding methods. Budget Research:
Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments affecting organizational spending. Develop Budget Guidelines:
Create guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets. Conduct Training Sessions:
Provide training sessions for company or government agency personnel on new budget procedures. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze financial data to support decision-making and prepare detailed financial reports. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and maintain proper documentation. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather budget requirements and provide updates on financial activities. Experience Requirements: 10 years of professional experience in financial analysis. Educational & Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
