Configuration Manager (Mid-Level)
to support our Navy customer in
Washington, DC .
Security Clearance:
Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Position/Job Description:
Manage Configuration Issues:
Oversee configuration management for all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configurations.
Collaborate with Configuration Control Board:
Work closely with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout their entire lifecycle.
Change Management Guidance:
Provide guidance on change management processes to ensure systematic approval and documentation of changes.
Product Configuration Management:
Manage product configuration to maintain integrity and traceability of configurations throughout the product lifecycle.
Documentation Control:
Ensure all configuration management activities are properly documented and maintained according to organizational standards.
Lifecycle Management:
Implement and manage configuration management processes across the entire product lifecycle, from initial development to final release and maintenance.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations related to configuration management and control.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on configuration management processes and best practices.
Experience Requirements:
7 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and acquisition programs.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
