Are you a tax professional with a passion for providing sophisticated financial planning and advisory services to high net worth, ultra-high net worth, and family office clients? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, a top 100 CPA firm, as a HNW Tax Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
Work directly with clients on new initiatives and manage follow through with team members and clients Analyze client financial information, assess needs, and determine advanced strategies necessary to meet clients’ objectives Manage and further leverage established network with referral professionals Develop relationships with clients and demonstrate capacity to earn client’s respect and trust, managing all aspects of the client relationship, providing opportunities to increase new services for existing clients and attract new business to the firm Perform technical tax reviews and governmental tax examinations of any complexity Develop and mentor Seniors and Staff through training and effective performance feedback Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections and project budgets Ownership of service plan delivery to clients, including conducting review meetings Experience
Recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on high-net-worth individual tax planning, preparation and review (4+ years for manager, 7+ years for senior manager) Ability to supervise others Licensed CPA or JD (EA acceptable for manager level) Licensed Certified Financial Planner with estate planning skills a bonus Excellent verbal and writing skills Willingness to take “ownership” of the client Ability to build and retain client relationships Benefits
