VisitWhy CWI (to learn more. Position Summary: The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Budget and Planning is a key leadership role within the College of Western Idaho. The AVP is responsible for overseeing budgeting and financial planning at the College and in collaboration with the Division of Institutional Effectiveness, developing and executing the College's strategic planning processes. The AVP will work closely with the Vice President of Finance and Administration, Associate Vice President of Finance and Controller, Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Presidents Cabinet, and campus stakeholders to ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the College. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning within a higher education setting. Essential Functions: Budget Development and Management: - Lead the annual budget development process, including forecasting, planning, and aligning budget allocations with the college's strategic goals and objectives. - Monitor and manage the execution of the budget, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. - Provide regular financial reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership. - Develop and maintain dashboards that monitor and communicate the financial stability and sustainability of the College.
