We are seeking a Senior IT Security Specialist to join our dynamic IT Security & Governance team at Nabors.We are a forward-thinking enterprise committed to maintaining a robust security posture across a cutting-edge operational environment. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vulnerabilities, keeping track of threats and security concerns, handling security incidents and investigations, all while communicating the importance of cybersecurity to all levels of the organization.

This position will report to the IT Security Manager, with expectation of limited guidance and work direction. The position comes with a mix of onsite work with some telecommuting availability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking candidates who are interested in helping us wholistically maintain system security across computer systems, networks, and the enterprise as a whole.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and assist with further development of the Vulnerability Management program. Develop and conduct user security awareness trainings, communications, and exercises. Assist with security investigations, incidents, and reporting Design and assist with coordination of phishing simulations, red team exercises, and penetration tests. Coordinate certification process requirements including evidence gathering and responses for ISO 27001, NIST-based controls framework assessments, and other cybersecurity assessments. Conduct security reviews of new products, solutions, and changes to infrastructure. Provide input into security strategy and program development. Conduct risk analysis assessments of systems and technologies, including both on-prem and cloud-based environments such as O365, OCI, and Azure. Assist with management of SIEM, including log source health, use case development, and response playbook development. Research and provide recommendations for new security tools and technologies. Prepare analysis and reporting of security activities and performance to management. Develop an understanding of operational technology security and assist with securing rig environments. Provides guidance to IT colleagues and business partners regarding security procedures and standards. Assist with collecting information regarding security compliance. Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of various business areas and the security applications that support it. Contribute to reviews of project designs to ensure compliance with policy and industry best practices. Analyze business processes, defining and documenting security requirements. Respond to security requests and problems, explaining company policies and procedures. Monitor security tools and identify indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and work to resolve them. Share knowledge effectively within the work team. Ensure technical teams are following appropriate standards, policies and security best practices. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Demonstrates strong understanding of multiple security platforms and technologies. Possesses a strong working knowledge of security principles, policies, tools and procedures. Demonstrates a basic understanding of the industry and is familiar with the products and services of Nabors. Ability to complete tasks independently/in a team-oriented environment with limited guidance. Ability to communicate and work across multiple teams and departments. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

4 years of relevant experience. Experience with VPN/Remote Access solutions. Experience with Cloud Security. Experience with endpoint anti-malware technologies. Experience with security standards like NIST, ISO and OWASP. Desirable Certifications: SANS, CISSP, Security Solutions/Tools Certifications. BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTS
