The purpose of this role is to maintain and address troubleshooting issues with company hardware and software. The candidate will work with various departments with different goals. They should have a design engineering background and be familiar with engineering software such as Solidworks, ANSYS, ect. What You'll Do Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software on workstations, laptops, and mobile devices Assist with the staging and deployment of new IT equipment for new hires and office expansions Perform routine maintenance and support tasks for network infrastructure including cabling and server racks Provide first level technical support for end-users including remote support Ensure security protocols are maintained for all IT systems and data Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures Contribute to the development of IT projects as needed Basic Qualifications U.S. Person status 6 months or more pursuing an undergraduate degree in technology or software bootcamp Customer service experience Foundational understanding of cyber security principles and best practices Bonus Qualifications Startup experience Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and time restraints Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and group policy management Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams or Slack Exposure to or familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java Knowledge of endpoint security and encryption solutions such as BitLocker or Defender for Business Benefits:
