Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a contract position with a client in Atlanta, GA, and Richmond, VA (hybrid). This role is responsible for collaborating with various teams, TPMs, and SMs to gather and understand project status and summarize the information effectively. The position requires leveraging a strong background in Agile-Scrum while drawing on experience in waterfall or hybrid project management.
Rate Range:
$65 hour to $70 hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead discussions and create detailed, actionable documentation. Continuously improve processes and drive efficiency. Facilitate learning and empower team members to become trainers (Train the Trainer) Provide education and facilitation of core Agile practices across all management levels (portfolio, program, and team). Support and educate teams on key Agile concepts, including Servant Leadership, backlog prioritization, and release planning (Program Increment). Pull and analyze reports from Jira, ensuring all metrics are tracked accurately. Troubleshoot and analyze issues to ensure project success. Conduct discussions with senior leaders, managers, and team members, effectively influencing and driving decisions. REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years of experience in technology and Agile environments Working knowledge of Lean-Agile SDLC processes and deliverables Expertise in Jira, with a focus on report generation and tool optimization Proven experience in educating all levels of management within Agile frameworks. Demonstrated ability to facilitate Agile practices, including Servant Leadership, backlog refinement, and release planning. Strong communication, relationship-building, and process management skills Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, software development, and testing processes Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, staying organized and motivated. Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and prepare accordingly.
