Job Description SUMMARY Operates and maintains forklift to supply production operations with raw materials top produce finished product, transfers finished product to storage or staging area and ensures finished product is loaded onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Operates and maintains forklift in a safe and efficient manner using work instruction, visual management and computer interface. 2. Supplies production operations with raw materials to produce finished produce. 3. Prints and scans Bill of lading for all finished goods using computer interface and RF scanner 4. Inspects finished goods for quality defects. 5. Transfers finished goods to staging or storage areas. 6. Loads finished goods onto trucks in a timely manner to meet customers delivery requirements. 7. Accurately completes all written logs and data input to include closing sequences of tickets and printing Bill of Lading. 8. Ensures accurate inventory counts and notifies lead/supervisor of discrepancies. 9. Effectively communicates with all internal departments. 10. Removes/Reworks and damaged product on pallets. 11. Maintain a clean work area and preforms general housekeeping duties. 12. Follow all HACCP, GMP and Product Safety rules and guidelines. 13. Train current and new members of the department to performs job related task as needed. 14. Learn new on the job skills as training opportunities become available.

EDUCATION High School diploma or general education (GED): or one to three months related experience and / or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operate and maintenance instructions, and procedure, and manual. Ability to write routine, reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and precent. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variant of instructions furnished in a written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A valid driver's license and forklift certification are required. The forklift certification must meets OSHA requirements and is required to perform the essential duties of this job. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for 12 hours, regularly required to sit for 12 hours, and is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. WORK ENVIRONMENT Job is performed near moving mechanical parts and occasionally in outdoor weather. Safety glasses are required to be worn. The noise level is loud, requiring hearing protection to be work. GMP procedures are observed in all areas of the plant.
