NDT Inspector Job Description

Position Title: NDT Inspector - Night Shift

Position Summary:

Hunt Valve, a Northeast Ohio Manufacturer, has a job opening for a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector. The NDT Inspector will work under the direct supervision of a LVL II or LVL III certified individual while gaining experience hours towards their LVL I certification. A qualified applicant must be able to read and interpret detailed procedures and pass written and practical test examinations. Experience in fabricated and machined components inspection is preferred but not required. The company will pay for additional specific training in VT (Visual Inspection), MT (Mag Particle Inspection) and PT (Liquid Penetrant Inspection) to meet the requirements as set forth in ASNT TC-1A.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • 1 - 5 years in a machine shop environment
  • Preferred VT, PT, and MT Method experience
  • Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Maintaining an organized and clean workspace
  • Proficient at reading and understanding drawings and procedures
  • Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Need to be capable of passing a Jaeger 1 eye examination administered by Hunt Valve


Note: This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirement, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
