Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth in the apparel division.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and sales channels.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and industry influencers.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and operations, to develop and launch new products that align with market demands.
- Create and present business proposals to potential partners and clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of collaboration.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and business development efforts.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the apparel or fashion industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the apparel market, trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Relationship Management: Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, showing resilience and flexibility to navigate challenges.
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 - $200,000.00. The offered salary or salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
