Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer Job Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Other - (5) 8-hour shifts per week, 1a to 9a, any variation Tue-Thu, Sun-Thu, potential for weekend doubles Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience License: Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH required Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: - 1 year of General Radiographer experience - Valid NYSDOH radiologic technologist license - BLS certification preferred Job Description: - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as assigned by the radiologist - Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes - Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and images - Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care - Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards - Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in radiology
