Role Overview

As a Content Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging, on-brand content that elevates Avenue Z's internal marketing efforts. This internship focuses on promoting the company's thought leadership, culture, and services across platforms. You'll gain hands-on experience in crafting targeted messaging, developing compelling marketing assets, and driving engagement to strengthen Avenue Z's brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality content to promote Avenue Z's services, culture, and team across internal and external platforms, including email campaigns, blog posts, landing pages, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine brand messaging and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for brainstorming, messaging refinement, and formatting support.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and emerging marketing tactics to inform internal strategies.
  • Support the creation of culture-focused content, including employee spotlights, event recaps, and behind-the-scenes features.
  • Assist in planning and executing campaigns for internal initiatives, including recruitment, company events, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with Avenue Z's brand voice.
  • Manage priorities across multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, or possess relevant internship or work experience.
  • Proficiency in basic content creation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite); familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to commit to a 20-24 hours/week schedule for the semester, compensated at $20/hour.
  • Access to a reliable laptop for the duration of the internship.
